Shells From the Shire.

Hi Guys and welcome back to my Blog 

Today I am sharing a Project I made just for me 

Shell's from the Shire

Pembrokeshire to be precise 

on the Coast of SW Wales UK 

 this is where I live 

I was sent this retired Graphic 45 12x12 Matchbook Box 

by a friend and I knew I wanted to make some sort 

of Keepsake with it, after thinking on it a while I came across 

some shell's in my stash 

Here is a walk through 

Grid made using 

6 pieces of 1.5 x 12 inch cardboard 

mark at .75" at 3" 6" and 9" 

cut slits then I slotted  them together 

Painted with Cream textured paint 

Lined the Box with Graphic 45 Paper and placed grid inside 

Chose Some of my Favourite Shells from my Collection 

Glued in using Heavy Body Gel 

Placed Acetate over the Aperture

and Decorated the Front with Graphic 45 papers 

Fussy Cut Elements  from papers 

Papers Used are 

Graphic 45 Ocean Blue

Be Kind

Hi There everyone, 

Today I have a mixed media panel to share with you

As always you should Be Kind there is no need for Bullying of any Kind

We have enough stress through everyday life with one thing or an other

It makes me so sad that people young and old are taking their own lives 

so with that in mind the talented Nikki who Designs mdf for Woodform

 crafts designed this circle panel with these words

With this in mind I ordered some for my mixed media class 

which I run once a fortnight 

I left mine quite plain as I didn't want to take to much

 away from the actual words

The story of us

Good Day everyone 

Well its dark and miserable here in Pembrokeshire 

Today I am sharing a little

 project I made on the weekend 

For this project 

I have used AB Studio papers 

Diary available from Thompsons Crafts Supplies

Lace, Flowers, Frame are all out of my stash 

Gesso, 3d Gel, Mica Fragment, Glass Glitter and Snow white Micro Beads

Good Morning 

I have been working on a new carving 

over the bank holiday weekend 

I gave a small peek yesterday over on my page

Operation Pull Apart

Good Morning hope you all have had 

a lovely weekend I sure did on Sat I 

spent the day with a few friends Crafting 

well more giggling and chatting than crafting got done 

On Sunday I decided I wasn't to sure about 

what I had made although I didn't completely 

finish on sat I knew I didn't like it so I pulled what

 I could apart and started again so I will share the

Unusual Colours for Love

Good Morning,Well it's nearly afternoon 

and I am late again today sharing my

Unusual Colours for Love Canvas 

When I had gessoed it all white I wanted to go more vintage sepia colours

not the usual pinks and reds well that didn't happen either 

I went with green tones that I had in my stash

As you know I am not fantastic at this but I do hope I'm getting better 

I would love to know what your thoughts are on this piece 

and hints and tips are always welcome

I am really enjoying my

I have always loved looking this

I am slowly getting there I hope 

I went from to dull in the colours 

and not sure if this is to Shiny now

I am a bit scared of colour and only stick 

to the same colour pallet

but seeing as I have finished this

and light is awful at the moment

Stars in my Moon

Good Morning all Happy Friday to you all

Today I am sharing my newest canvas with you all

"Stars in my Moon" 

Lots of Flowers and Products from my stash

Which have been Glued down with Heavy Gel Medium

Then I painted over with Black Gesso

Added White Pearl Pixie Powered in a spray bottle 

and Art Alchemy Metallique Pink Blush 

and some silver wax

All about the Blues

Hi Guys I have an extra post today as I knew 

I wanted to share this with my Blogger friends

over the weekend Joanne and I 

made Mixed media Canvases 

 I made this large 3ft tall 

canvas I enjoyed every minute of it 

I knew instantly that it have all the 

Blues in she had in her Stash 

I just adore Blues

when I spotted the smaller one I just had to bring it home to make

Its a bit brighter here today at the moment

after the awful weather we have been having lately
